The Ursprungalm lies at an altitude of 1,610m at the foot of the Steirische Kalkspitze in the Schladminger Tauern.
The alp offers itself for "big and small" as a wonderful hiking and recreation destination. Mountain bikers will also feel at home here after a demanding tour.
The hut is open from the end of May to the middle of October.
Getting here
Access by car or bus from Schladming via Pichl to the toll road (subject to a charge) to the Urprungalm car park.
