Guided glacier hike

Registration is not yet possible, depending on the snow conditions, the tour will be possible from the middle or end of June, from this time it will also be possible to register.

The fascination of the glacier fields of the Dachstein - as a contrast the high alpine pastures of this unique landscape. Guided hike from the Dachstein Gletscherbahn mountain station (2,700 m) to the Guttenberghaus (2,146 m) and descent via the Lärchbodenalm to the Feisterer parking lot.

Meeting point

• 08:00 am, valley station Dachstein Gletscherbahn
• Starting point and destination are different, so do not go up by car via the Dachstein road.
• You take the first bus (960) from Schladming  or Ramsau Kulm, which ends at the valley station of the Dachstein Gletscherbahn. The mountain guide will make himself known on the bus and the gondola will be reserved for you.

Tour

• Walking time: approx. 6 hours, the tour ends at approx. 12 pm at the Guttenberghaus, descent is independent
• moderately difficult terrain, only possible with good equipment and good condition
• Ascent with the public bus, boarding possible along the main road at any bus stop

Ascent Dachstein Gletscherbahn only 1x in 7 days and from a minimum stay of 2 nights with the Sommercard free! Bus ride unlimited possible, toll will be collected on the bus.
The tour will only take place when snow conditions allow.
