Ski-Touring El Dorado for Everyone

The Dachstein Glacier greets you with 8 different tours. From February until well into April, guided tours are offered by the ski schools of the Schladming-Dachstein region, also providing return transportation to your starting point at our winter sports centres. Every Friday features night touring on the Riesneralm.

Trailblazer Freeriding

The »Edelgriess« run enjoys a cult following, regarded as one of the most beautiful freeride venues anywhere in the Alps. The result: 18 km of breathtaking freeriding through the Dachstein Massif to Ramsau am Dachstein!

Austria's National Ski Tour - the Dachstein Glacier

Probably one of the most impressive tours anywhere in the Alps is Austria’s National Ski Tour, the Dachstein crossing to Hallstatt. In the process, you cover some 25 km and span 2,000 m in elevation. The Dachstein Glacier Lift spares you any hard climbs. For this tour, which lasts 4 to 5 hours, you
don’t need any special touring equipment. But you should definitely enjoy it with the assistance of a local guide.
