The brand-new glacier restaurant with a breathtaking 280-degree view and spacious outdoor terrace is located directly at the top station of the Dachstein Glacier cable car. With around 220 seats, the restaurant offers plenty of space for guests. Natural materials such as loden, stone and wood create a cosy atmosphere and harmonise perfectly with the high alpine surroundings.
In addition to its altitude and panoramic location, there is something else that makes it unique: the border between the federal states of Styria and Upper Austria runs right through the centre of the restaurant.
There is a separate buffet area with a show kitchen for the unforgettable sunrise breakfast and sunset fondue.
If you fancy something sweet and sour or if you're thirsty, you'll find everything you need at the Restaurant am Dachstein: regional specialities, a variety of daily specials, snacks and tasty snack boards for in between meals, as well as a salad and cake buffet.
