Ski opening with DAVID GUETTA in Schladming!

One of the world’s best DJs and producers, as well as provider of the 2009 summer hit, will be rocking the Schladminger Planai Stadium on 5, December. David Guetta, with his summer hit “When Love Takes Over” will see the Planai Stadium transformed into a sizzling cauldron as part of the ski opening.


After Pink in 2007 and Kid Rock in 2008, the next top star of international show business will this year be coming to Schladming: DAVID GUETTA will be the star act at this year’s ski opening at the Planai, and on 5 December will take care of what will probably be Schladming’s biggest house party ever. In doing so, the organisers have bucked up the next music sensation.


Planai-Bahnen Managing Director, Mag. Ernst Trummer, says: “This year, we will continue the tradition of always bringing one of the most popular international artists to kick off the winter in Schladming.”


Along with Tiesto and Carl Cox, David Guetta is one of those young DJs whose public acceptance and fan base has long taken on rockstar-like proportions. Frenchman Guetta, who has successfully been involved with the music industry for over 20 years, has long been filling halls and stadiums with capacities of up to 40,000 people. Last year alone, David Guetta rocked around 2 million people in over 200 cities worldwide! Even on the internet video platform, YouTube, David Guetta is breaking all the records: “His” click rate there recently passed the 70 million hits mark. And this trend is continuing to grow…
