NEW Planai-Servicedeck opened

"As light as day and yet underground, park your car in Europe's most modern parking garage", that's the motto of the new, two-storey Planai-Servicedeck, which was officially opened for business on the weekend of Dec. 17, 2011. Thousands of curious onlookers accepted the invitation and were quite overwhelmed by the new facility.

The largest single building project within the framework of the Planai Lift Company's World Championship investment program was constructed in a record time of just 180 days. The result was Europe's most modern underground parking garage with 400 new parking spaces and "premium parking" on 10,000 m2, directly beneath the finish area of the Planai. During the World Championships, hundreds of jobs will be created right here.

World Championships Park-Planai – the former Planai finish stadium - became necessary in order to provide the organizational spaces needed for the 2013 Alpine Ski World Championships and to allow people to cross the finish area below ground. Consistent with the whole goal of multifunctional, long-term use, visitors to the Planai now enjoy the convenience of Europe's most modern underground parking garage.
