who generally stick to routes along the river banks and only know the mountains from a distance?  But who have long harbored the desire to ride a bike higher and higher into the mountains, closer and closer towards those alpine giants?

Here, your dream is about to come true - and without you having to break down with exhaustion after just a few kilometres.

The magic word is movelo. movelo is the biggest European provider of electric mobility for the tourism industry, opening up whole new possibilities for biking enjoyment for all those who would otherwise shy away from steeper climbs. Under your own power, but assisted by the ingenious Pedelec technology, even more mountainous stages become relative child's play. All thanks to an electric motor - which kicks in while you pedal normally - with a maximum speed of 25 km/h. So now, every mountain road feels as flat as a pancake, every headwind like a gently breeze.

Since June 2011, the region of Schladming-Dachstein, Ramsau am Dachstein
and Filzmoos has offered a joint E-network for complete E-mobility.

True to the motto of movelo: rent it out, sit on the saddle, and off you go!

Convenient battery changes
Cyclists using a Pedelec produced by the Swiss-Flyer brand can cover 200 kilometres and over 5,000 vertical metres - and always accompanied by glorious mountain scenery, including views of the Dachstein, Bischofsmütze and Schladminger Tauern. In all three of the aforementioned holiday regions, there are a total of eight rental and 22 battery-changing stations, where cyclists will find the same bikes and same quality wherever they ride. So, for example, you can rent out a bicycle in Filzmoos, pedal your way to Schladming, switch out or recharge your battery there, then return your bicycle in Gröbming or ride back to Filzmoos.
