Sunset on Dachstein glacier

Only a few are privileged to see it - the beautiful play of colours and the impressive view when night falls over the Dachstein. These selected few might be the lodge hosts at the glacier or the cablecar technician who spends the night at the Upper Station. The rare occasions on which this experience is open to all guests are the Sunset Tours of the Dachstein Gletscherbahn.


Culinary & Musical
The guests of the Glacier Restaurant will be pampered by cuisine and music during the Sunset Tours. New: the fondue for romantics, lovingly prepared by Gundi Pachernegg and her team, a treat for all senses. Tasty snacks are prepared for smaller appetites. Guests who already visited the Dachstein during the day can simply extend their Dachstein day until sunset and enjoy it to the full. Naturally, the Dachstein Ice Palace and the glacier crevice can also still be viewed in the evening.

Sunset Tours:
Every Tuesday from 11 September until 25 September 2012 and Saturday from 15 September to 27 October 2012.
Package price for mountain and valley tour with evening meal: Adults 59.- Euros / Children 35.- Euros

Important:
The times of the cablecar ascent vary with sunset time and will be announced shortly after registration.
